Stella Barker

I think Stella is now a corporate events manager.  She was apparently writing a screenplay about The Bodysnatchers and / or a book about The Belle Stars.

Maureen & The Meatpackers (1980)
Stella was a guest vocalist on a song called Zip Zip and also played Rhythm guitar. It may have been released as a 7" in 1980 although this is not confirmed. It's also possible that Stella actually appears on Zip Zip with The Containers rather than Maureen & The Meatpackers - conflicting information on the internet. (Both bands involved Robyn Hitchcock and he seems to be the "front-man"). Either way, it's very rare.

Stella wrote the words for The Magic of the Night and music with Michael McSweeney.  She also sings on the track.

Stella’s uploaded this song to Myspace - it’s a great catchy ska number. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that Stella’s a regular myspacer so I don’t know what else she might have recorded recently.
